I'm currently in Portland preparing for a flight to Washington, DC to attend the inauguration of Barack Obama. This kid is excited.

January 20th will mark the best birthday present I have ever received. After eight years it's finally over.

Happy upcoming birthday you son of a stinger. When are you moving to Bend. BTW I read through the last two pages of posts yesterday. Funny stuff. I like how you know what's going on in the national news world better than I do. I sit in front of a computer for at least 10 hours a day. WTF. I don't have any idea what's going on with the Magic Man. He's amazing though, magic, if you dare.

I'm quite jealous you'll be spending inauguration in D.C.! Being the only American in my Tuesday classes, I got special permission to skip to attend the one of many London celebrations - the London Inauguration Ball! We'll be toasting the end of an error at 5pm our time (more suitable for drinking than noon, I'd say - good thing for the time difference!)

1. I texted "plz give bday shout out to Zach Lauritzen" to 62262 this morning. I think he must have missed it but it is of course the thought that counts.
2. I was just in Colorado for the weekend visiting a friend who did not have recycling, so I somewhat ridiculously but absolutely for real carried all of mine back with me in my suitcase.
